I feel happy that Revie and Blake are well looked after on their walks and obviously have loads of fun as they are excited before they go and come back with big smiles on their faces. We also have done a range of classes with Blake when he was a puppy and now they both do agility. So much fun and variety. Davina and James advice is great nothing is to much effort and have helped me to start feeding raw to the boys. Basically I couldn't recommend the team highly enough!! |

It goes without saying that the classes provide great training techniques. But for us it’s more than that. We come every week as a family and we all take part in training Billy. Our young son has gained in confidence every week and absolutely loves coming along. Walkabout are so welcoming and encourage all of us, including our son, to take part. Wakefield Dog Training Classes Testimonial Walkabout Hounds was recommended to us by a friend, we had previously attended puppy classes at a club in Wakefield but didn't like the style of teaching. Rolo is quite a strong dog and was increasingly becoming stubborn.We attended the beginners course and it was brilliant! Rolo was worn out after every session she'd sleep for the rest of the day and went from only being able to "sit" if she felt like it to being ready to follow several commands and also her behaviour towards other dogs improved. Davina and James are fantastic teachers and explain how our actions lead to the dogs reactions. Can't recommend highly enough,looking forward to next course, Top class doggy school. 👍 |

Wakefield Dog Training Classes, Dog Accessories & Dog Food, Raw Dog Food Testimonial We got Blue at 8 months old and luckily for us and him we discovered Walkabout hounds after a couple of weeks. We have to say that the classes have been invaluable for us, it's more about teaching us how to adapt and understand his behavior and be proactive and has made life so much more enjoyable for us all. Now when we go out walking we can have Blue off lead for 90% of the time which was something we never thought was possible. Plus it has taught us how to be proactive in handling situations whilst out and about. We cannot thank James, Davina enough, and we look forward to seeing where we can get to with Blue and his training. |

Wakefield Dog Training Classes, 121 Training and Behavioural Training Testimonial I contacted James initially for a one to one for one of my miniature Schnauzers who was very reactive around other dogs. With james’ help my dog is much improved and now attends obedience and agility classes at Walkabout Hounds. I cannot recommendation James, Davina and Sarah highly enough. The classes they run are professional but very friendly and they are always available to give advice. If you have a problem dog or just want your dog to have fun at agility or try something different such as scent work then Walkabout Hounds is the place to go. My only regret is I didn’t find out about Walkabout Hounds sooner ! |

Rothwell Dog Training Classes Testimonial Hello team. I just want to tell you what a lovely time we had today at training with Lola. All the team are involved from opening the door. As Lola is our first dog, we feel we are always open to advise. Every time we attend a class I feel more confident and beginning to feel really relaxed in classes. We had so much fun today, and we were happy to go out several times today to practice. Lola is now fantastic on the head lead. Even our grandson aged 6 is now able to walk Lola. He was equally excited about how she behaved in class today. Thank you all for for your knowledge, and more-so your patience with with novice dog owners. Looking forward to next week. Wakefield Puppy Care, Dog Training Classes, One 2 One Training, Dog Accessories & Dog Food, Raw Dog Food Testimonial Having had the experience of having large dog's who decided when they wanted to behave when out & about we decided with our new (soon to be large) rescue that we had to find a way that he would fit in with our lifestyle. We always envied the people on the beach who let their dog run free, confident that they would come when called & not be unruly. We looked into lots of different training styles & decided on 'positive reinforcement' & walkabout came up. Training is fun, really informative & the bonus is it works :-D - I have fun, Jed has fun (although he does work so hard at classes he has a tendency to fall asleep mid-class!) Not only are the dogs taught we are too, even though i have had dogs all my life, I have learnt & still learning so much about a 'dog's life & thinking'. Jed & I now do two classes as we love it so much. They do not judge when thing don't go to plan, they discuss other ways of finding a way to get the training to work & fit around you & your dog. I would highly recommend walkabout, & in the three months both Jed & I have learn't so much. Thank you to Davina & James, all your work & patience is appreciated & Jed & I wish you every success in your continuation of building a fantastic business. |

Allerton Bywater Dog Training Classes Testimonial I have two dogs one of whom is a little unsure around other dogs, will go up to some and say hello but then thinks ok what do I do now. Therefore he barks not aggressively nope just in a frustrated excited unsure way. I have had one 2 one lessons before with a trainer from a different company but when wanted to do classes was refused. I was left shocked and confused. BUT TODAY HAD FIRST LESSON HERE WITH JAMES AND OMGGGGG LOVED IT My lil dog that barks did do for first couple minutes on and off. Then James came got down to his level spoke to him and earned a little trust, wiped his eyes as they were running due to his breed, and showed us how to be occupied and go to work so focus not just on other dogs. And THE WAY MY DOG DID WAS AMAZING HE WAS FOCUSED, AND WAITING TO SEE WHAT NEXT, SEEN THE OTHER DOGS WITHOUT HIGH PITCHED BARKING HE JUST LOOKED OK I SEE U NOW WHAT WE DOING NEXT MUM N I WAS SO PROUD OF HIM, we both enjoyed the lesson as did my girl dog and hubby. As soon as came home booked for next week. THE BEST TRAINING CLASS I HAVE BEEN TO WITH ANY OF MY DOGS I HAD. CANNOT RECOMMEND CLASSES HERE ENOUGH.
